Nocturnal Animals

“The fox knows many things, the hedgehog knows one important thing.”

Nocturnal Animals is about neighbors. About the strangers living above, next to, or below you. About looking down on others and intruding. About stifled urges behind net curtains and begonias. Until night falls. Two neighbors. They don’t know each other. Every morning they greet each other dutifully, exchanging no more than a few words. Until they bump into each other in a café. From that moment on, they get to know each other better. Better than they would like. Nocturnal Animals is a play by Spanish author Juan Mayorga. Likeminds presents the Dutch premiere, directed by Floris van Delft.
